Because both Android itself and the RetroArch app can be expanded by downloading and installing further emulator apps or emulation cores, it is possible to emulate many more systems in Android on the RP2 with relative ease. However, the limited power and capabilities of the RP2 do mean that regardless of future software upgrades, it will never be able to emulate some systems at playable speed, or even at all. Here is an incomplete list of systems that the RP2 will never be able to emulate at a playable level:

Sega Saturn, GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, 3DS, PlayStation Vita, Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii-U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, or any other major console released after 2010.
